Although
I am not a certified Master Gardener, I am an avid gardener, with personal
interests that include vegetable gardening, bulbs and perennials. My husband Dan
and I maintain a 2-acre "botanic garden" yard that has over 45
varieties of trees and shrubs, and more perennials than we can count. We also have an attached greenhouse on our home
where I grow tropicals such as orchids, plumeria, hibiscus, ginger, palms and
cycads (and he grows cactus and succulents). Some recent additions include a
flagstone patio, poetry garden, and conversion of the former cactus garden to a
rock garden. We also expanded the deck to better display container plants and
Dan's succulent bonsai. Read more about the
