Member's Gardens

Deb's Garden

Flowers in Deb's garden in the summer of 2007.

Fleurette's Garden

Fleurette created both of these items in spring of 2007.  The Living Portrait was inspired by a visit to Mayflower Gardens and the other is her faux hypertufa container (another photo is in the June issue of the GG grapevine) based on a WI Gardener video on making them.

Indoor gardening at it's best: Fleurette's heat mats and grow lights have paid off - salad for 5 for dinner on March 11, 2007!

Keri's Garden

Glacial Gardener member Keri has several gardens: one on the side of the house, one by the lake

and another by the basement.

Sandy's Garden

Sandy planted her purple pole bean house in the summer of 2005. She got lots of help picking beans when the helpers could play in the teepee house and pick beans too! Now to find a way to make picking the rest of the garden fun too!

And at a different time of the year - Sandy's garden at sunrise on March 7, 2007 is so beautiful!  There is a new fallen snow and frost on the trees (as it was five below zero or something like that on that morning) The photo is taken through the stalks from last years sunflowers.  The birds have eaten all the seeds.

        Karen's Garden

Karen's cactus (Epiphyllum) that finally
bloomed after 10 years!  It had only one
bright red flower, 8" across.

Karen's planter, made at our Hypertufa program in spring 2004, in full bloom in the summer of 2004.
