Notice regarding WiscDsLox T-DNA lines:

As a result of our on-going testing of the WiscDsLox T-DNA lines, we have collecting data that indicates that not all WiscDsLox T-DNA lines are able to function as efficient Ds element launch-pads.  It is still too early to draw any definitive conclusions regarding the WiscDsLox population in general, but at this point in time users should be aware of the fact that not all WiscDsLox lines are able to launch their Ds elements.  We therefore strongly recommend that users interested in mobilizing the Ds element present in any given WiscDsLox line perform a small-scale pilot experiment in order to estimate the efficiency of germinal Ds excision from their launch-pad of interest before setting up a large scale screen.
