Mission Statement

It shall be the purpose of the Hort Club to interest and acquaint students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences with career opportunities and requirements in the field of Pomology, Floriculture, Ornamental Horticulture, and other related fields; to provide opportunities to further this interest through combined effort and achievements; to create awareness and interest in students entering the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences with fields available to industrious students interested in expanding their knowledge of Horticulture; and to promote an exchange of ideas and mutual understanding among Club members at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
