This certificate of appreciation was given to Dr Edward Hasselkus.  He played an integral role in the startup and development of the UW Horticulture Society and greatly deserves our gratitude.  Signed by 1981 president Elizabeth Ginger.

1981 Marked the year the MACHS convention was held in our beloved city, at the Sheraton Inn.  The convention was sponsored by the UW Horticulture Club.
