This issue (volume 24, number 11) of Grower Talks includes a short article about Wisconsin Grower's Day, held in Madison on January 24th, 1961.  The day was part of Wisconsin's Farm and Home Week and included programs, displays and discussions mainly centered around bedding plants.

This is the ORIGINAL and very FIRST registration form sent to the Student Organization Office on May 3rd, 1961.  Page one includes general information about the club, a list of officers and committee chairmen as well as the number of members (14!).  Emeritus Professor Edward Hasselkus was the first faculty advisor and remained so for many years.  This application also included a copy of the club's constitution, which can be read here.
